Lot Essay

Now I learned to say goodbye to things. My home is too cluttered so I decided to share some part of my collection with you. It is nothing exuberant, yet they are memories of various moments in my life: my collaboration with Walasse Ting, a gift from the film director Hu Jinquan, calligraphic couplet by Yu Dafu, and a few Feng Kangkou works I purchased very early on. I do hope you like them? Chua Lam

The abovementioned works by Walasse Ting (1929-2010) and Yu Dafu (1896-1945), a total of six works from this collection will be offered in our Fine Chinese Modern and Contemporary Ink Paintings sale on 30 November 2021.
